stay at Moonhouses in Shela Beach Lamu

I stayed at Moonhouses in "Kiwandani House" with my 4 and half year old grandson in December. We both loved it. The views from the very comfortable and beautifully decorated houses are amazing. The warm sea is a 1 minute stroll away so before breakfast we would have a quick wake up dip. There is freshly caught fish for lunch and/or dinner every day. A lovely pool at the hotel, beautifully locally made day beds to lounge on everywhere. Staff was helpful and kind. The only thing I missed was a big shower which I prefer to a bath , but some of the houses do have showers. They are all differently decorated. I would love to come back to Moonhouses and try out all of them. Warmly recommended.
