About Carla's Beach Hut
Set on a bluff overlooking the Lamu channel on Khalila Beach, Carla's Beach Hut is a getaway from it all, including the luxuries of modern life.
Accommodation at Carla's Beach Hut
The Beach Hut is a no frills secluded beach getaway. It's simply you, a hut and the beach. While you're only 15 minutes from Shella (10 minute walk + a 5 minute boat-ride) the Beach Hut is in a hidden corner of Ras Kitau on Khalila Beach looking out over large boulders and the open ocean.
Because Manda Island has limited access to fresh water, please note that larger groups of 4 or more would need a daily or every two day water supply (not included) for the shower, which can be brought over by the staff. Garbage must also be separated into organics, plastics, papers, etc...
Food
Please be advised that cooking facilities are extremely basic. Guests should come with their own shopping and coolers or you can arrange to have ingredients brought over from Shela or Lamu. You can make use of the gas cooker/fire or hire a local cook.

Upon confirming rates and availability, you will receive an electronic invoice and a deposit can then be made by credit card, paypal, m-pesa or bank transfer to confirm your booking.
On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a receipt, confirmation, and voucher for your stay. The balance of the rental is due prior to arrival.
