Shela village is a tangle of narrow sandy lanes, tall stone houses, some smaller thatched dwellings, mosques, ruins and a spacious square ringed with a few market stalls. This is where you will find the four Shela Houses: Beach House, Shela House, Palm House and Garden House. The houses are suitable for 4-14 guests.
The four stylish, comfortable and very private houses are situated in Shela Village, each with their own individual character and rooftop terraces with panoramic views of the sea, the dunes and life in the village below. Meals can be taken up here under the stars with gentle breezes carrying fragrant smells of jasmine and Swahili spices.
